Job summary

The Station Grocer in Alstonville is seeking a Customer Service Team Member to join a small, friendly team. This casual role involves 2–3 shifts per week, with day and evening hours, and many shifts being solo at night.

You will greet customers, process payments, maintain the store and forecourt, restock shelves, and contribute to a warm shopping experience. Prior customer-facing experience and reliability for night shifts are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Confident using a till and performing till reconciliation.
• Strong communication and basic maths skills.
• Reliable team player available to work nights.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working solo.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and friendly experience to every customer.
• Process payments for fuel, food and convenience items.
• Handle closing procedures and till reconciliation.
• Keep the store clean and presentable (including forecourt).
• Restock and rotate stock on shelves.
