Job summary

Mack Technologies is seeking an SMT Operator to set up, operate and maintain screen printers, glue machines, reflow ovens, and SMT placement equipment for PCB assembly. Reports to the Operations Manager and ensures adherence to production plans and workmanship standards.

Shift includes Monday–Friday with some Saturdays, from 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM. Requires IPC-A-610 certification, ESD training, and teamwork-oriented problem solving to support NPI efforts and quality objectives.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience in SMT equipment operation
IPC-A-610 Certified
ESD Training
Knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC-610 requirements
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

Set up, operate and maintain screen printers, glue machine, reflow ovens, SMT placement machines, stencil cleaners, conveyors, and other equipment in PCB assembly.
Ensure daily build plan is met in accordance with production planner’s requirements.
Interface with complex machine hardware and software.
Identify and report defective components.
Control, document and process non-conforming material.
Perform minor machine adjustments as needed.
Inspect own work to ensure accuracy and integrity of output.
Participate in development of new product introductions (NPI) by assisting with setup and training.
Follow written/verbal instructions and maintain data logs.
Maintain cleanliness of work area and surrounding space.
Contribute to quality teams as required.
May train other employees.
