Job summary

Taldumande Youth Services in New South Wales is seeking a confident Youth Worker to join the Beach Reach program on a casual basis. You will co-run after-hours outreach, driving the Beach Reach van, engaging with young people in public spaces, and coordinating with local authorities to provide safe, respectful support.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of hands-on youth work, hold a Certificate IV in youth work or related discipline, and have a NSW Driver Licence with access to an insured

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands-on experience in youth work or related fields.
• Certificate IV in youth work or related discipline (community services, teaching, or mentoring).
• Current NSW Driver Licence and access to insured vehicle.
• Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• National Police Clearance Check required.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Beach Reach van and navigate local hotspots.
• Liaise with police and build rapport with young people.
• Provide calm, respectful support in after-hours contexts.
