Job summary

Australia Post is hiring an Electric Vehicle Delivery Driver for the Sunshine Coast Delivery Centre. You will start with a team, prepare mail and small parcels, and head out to deliver with a modern three‑wheeled EV, prioritising safety and reliability.

You’ll be supported by Rider Mentors, with opportunities to learn, grow and progress into leadership roles within a national service that keeps communities connected.

Qualifications

• Hold a full or probationary Australian driver’s licence and pass required assessments.
• Flexible to work additional hours when needed.
• Reliable and detail‑focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
• Meet safety requirements, including the role’s safe working load limit (120kg or less).
• Keen to learn and progress, with pathways into senior delivery or frontline leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on a modern three‑wheeled electric delivery vehicle to homes and businesses with care.
• Prepare mail and small parcels at the facility before heading out on deliveries.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and follow established processes for safe, reliable delivery.
• Work as part of a supportive team with Rider Mentors to build skills and confidence.
