Job summary

Australia Post is seeking an Electric Vehicle Delivery Driver at the Rockhampton Delivery Centre to join a dedicated delivery team. You will start your day with the team, drive a modern three-wheeled electric vehicle, and deliver mail and small parcels to local homes and businesses with care and consistency.

You will be supported by Rider Mentors, learn safety-focused processes, and have opportunities for progression into leadership roles as you grow your skills and confidence on the road.

Qualifications

Hold a full or probationary Australian driver's licence and pass required assessments.
Flexible to work additional hours when needed.
Reliable and detail-focused, handling mail and parcels up to 16kg.
Meet safety requirements, including the role's safe working load limit (120kg or less).
Keen to learn and progress, with pathways into senior delivery or frontline leadership roles.

Responsibilities

Deliver on a modern three-wheeled electric delivery vehicle to homes and businesses.
Work as part of a supportive team and follow established processes for safe, reliable delivery.
Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain safety and quality in all deliveries.
