Job summary

JET Charge Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to own engineering outcomes on major high-voltage EV charging projects, from concept to handover.

You will coordinate with external design houses or produce designs directly, covering HV/LV, civil, structural, battery storage and solar scopes as needed.

You will partner with the Project Manager and delivery teams, ensuring designs meet AS/NZS standards and client expectations while staying on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years in electrical infrastructure design.
• Experience on EV charging projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical designs for EV charging infrastructure including AC/DC distribution, HV connections, transformers and protection.
• Coordinate design across HV/LV, civil/structural, battery storage and solar scopes.
• Own equipment specifications and procurement lead times for major gear.
• Contribute to Safety in Design reviews and ensure health, safety & environmental compliance.
• Produce engineering designs, specifications and project reports on schedule and within budget.
• Engage with clients, network operators, contractors and verification engineers to maintain alignment.
