Job summary

Svr Construction Recruitment represents a well-established remedial and roofing contractor in North Brisbane seeking an Estimator / Project Manager. You will split time between estimating pricing from plans and managing projects from start to handover, handling 5–10 projects concurrently and building strong client and trade relationships.

To succeed you should have 3+ years in roofing/remedial/construction, end-to-end tendering experience, a solid understanding of NCC and site safety, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in estimating and/or project management within roofing, remedial or construction.
• End-to-end tendering experience (preferred).
• Strong understanding of roofing scopes, NCC requirements and site safety.
• Experience with SimPro or similar estimating/job management software.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Pricing roofing projects from plans and scopes to detailed quotations and tenders.
• Project managing jobs from start to finish including budgets, variations and handover.
• Handle a workload of around 5–10 projects at a time, depending on size.
• Build strong relationships with clients, builders and trades.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
• Identify and respond to new tender opportunities.

Are you an experienced Estimator who enjoys seeing your projects through from initial pricing to final handover?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and fast-growing remedial and roofing contractor based in Kallangur, North Brisbane, who work across commercial and residential projects and are looking for an Estimator / Project Manager to join their Roofing team.

The Role:

Reporting to the Roofing Department Manager, you'll split your time evenly between estimating and project management. Your responsibilities will include:

• Pricing your own roofing projects, from reviewing plans and scopes to preparing detailed quotations and tenders
• Project managing your jobs from start to finish, including trade scheduling, budgets, variations and handover
• Managing a manageable workload of around 5 to 10 projects at a time, depending on size
• Building strong relationships with clients, builders and trades
• Making sure works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
• Identifying and responding to new tender opportunities

About You:

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• 3+ years' experience in estimating and/or project management within roofing, remedial or construction
• End-to-end tendering experience (preferred)
• A strong understanding of roofing scopes, NCC requirements and site safety
• Experience with Simpro or similar estimating/job management software
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude
• A current driver's licence
