Job summary

Ampcontrol's Power team in Tomago is seeking an Electrical Estimator to drive cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions across a diverse project portfolio. You will work from early development through tender stage, collaborating with customers and internal teams to develop practical, cost-effective solutions aligned with standards and budgets.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade background or electrical engineering qualification.
• Experience with HV/LV electrical systems, plant or equipment.
• Experience or exposure to electrical estimating, cost budgets, quotations or tender preparation.
• Understanding of electrical equipment and project requirements in industrial/mining environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will ideally have:

• An electrical trade background or an electrical engineering qualification.
