Job summary

NEPEAN Power seeks an Estimator to resource the technical estimating function across NSW, QLD, VIC & WA. The role focuses on qualification and quantification of work scopes, tender preparation and cost evaluation to maximise market value.

You will work safely, build client relationships, and support business development through accurate, timely quotations and strong analytical skills. Salary is competitive with superannuation.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications are preferred with industry experience critical and at least 3 years relevant experience in a estimating capacity.
• Electrical Trade Certificate or Advance Diploma in Electrical Engineering is desired.
• Experience in mining & industrial switchboard manufacture/installation or maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Up Front design for preparing quotations and tenders.
• Compile letters of offer, tender schedules, program and other items required by tender.
• Review tender documents, assess scope and risks, and provide feedback to the BD manager.
• Liaise with customers to determine progress of tender and monitor quotation quality.
• Maintain records of quotations issued and uphold company representation.
