Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Estimator for our Defence & Infrastructure team in Adelaide. You will lead the estimation process for construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate estimates across materials, labour and overhead costs.

You will interpret plans and specifications, use SAP and Prism, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to secure accurate pricing and competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience, ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English with report and bid writing skills.
• Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and work autonomously.
• Team player with the ability to work with project managers, engineers and suppliers.

Responsabilités

We're looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Defence & Infrastructure team in Adelaide. The main focus of the role is to run commissions which require Estimates and Estimate Assurance. Primary tasks include:

• Lead the estimation process for construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate estimates.
• Analyse and interpret project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates, including materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to prepare detailed take-offs and cost breakdowns.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and cost data.
• Assist Construction Managers in planning.
• Review and analyse bids, proposals, and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications
