Job summary

Longreach Recruitment is partnering with a well-established main contractor in Western Australia to hire an Estimator. You will work under an experienced Senior Estimator and contribute to tenders, cost plans and estimates for industrial and retail projects ranging from $5M to $20M.

The role offers hands-on exposure to live tenders and the opportunity to develop estimating skills within a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in industrial or retail projects.
• Exposure to projects from $5M–$20M preferred.
• Strong cost management, tendering and estimating skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Practical, proactive, and team-focused approach.
• Candidate with a PQS background and commercial construction experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tenders, cost plans and estimates for projects across industrial and retail sectors.
• Assist in preparing tender submissions under the guidance of Senior Estimator.
• Support project teams with cost data and value engineering where appropriate.

About the Role

The business is currently seeking an Estimator to join their growing team. You’ll report to an experienced Senior Estimator and assist in preparing tenders, cost plans, and estimates for projects across industrial and retail sectors. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to projects, with opportunities to develop your estimating skills under a highly experienced leadership team.

Key Requirements
