Job summary

CGC Recruitment's client is seeking a Senior Estimator to join a growing builder operating across the East Coast of Australia, delivering a diverse portfolio of new-build, heavy refurbishment, and fit-out projects ranging from $5M to $50M in the commercial sector.

Reporting directly to an Estimating Manager, you will price and secure projects while contributing to the future growth of the commercial function.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar.
• 10+ years' experience within the construction industry.
• Proven estimating experience with a head contractor across new build and heavy refurbishment projects (commercial highly desired).
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, structures, procurement, and cost planning.

• Price and secure projects within the pre-construction phase.
• Report to Estimating Manager and contribute to the commercial function's growth.
• Collaborate with the team to develop robust cost plans and tender strategies.

About You

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
• 10+ years' experience within the construction industry

• Commercially astute with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Team-oriented and looking to contribute to a positive office culture
