Job summary

You will respond to quoting requests, liaise with clients, build strong relationships, and ensure quotes are produced and reviewed with high accuracy. Collaboration with workshop and office teams is essential to deliver precise, timely quotations for fabrication projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to use CAD drafting software and read engineering drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to quoting requests from customers to deliver services that are high in quality
• Liaise with customers regarding quotes
• Build and maintain strong relationships
• Produce and review quotes, with a high attention to detail
• Thoroughly understand the scope of work required for the job and requirements to be quoted
• Work collaboratively with the Workshop Manager, Workshop Forman and Office Administrator

About you

• Communicate effectively, both written and verbally
• Ability to use CAD drafting software, read and understand engineering and architectural drawings
• Understand fabrication principles and process
• Manage and understand bid pricing from suppliers
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as autonomously
