Job summary

The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking an experienced ESS Project Manager to lead security enhancement projects at Australian Parliament House, Canberra. You will manage end-to-end delivery from planning and procurement through installation, commissioning and handover, working with stakeholders, contractors, and security professionals.

Desirable qualifications include tertiary qualifications in PM or Security, PRINCE2/PM certification, and experience with Gallagher systems.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex security projects in government environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of Australian Government procurement and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of security projects from planning to handover.
• Coordinate planning, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover with stakeholders and contractors.
• Ensure governance, risk, and compliance across project delivery.
