Red Lock Escape Rooms is seeking an enthusiastic Gamemaster for casual, part-time in-person shifts in Queensland. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences, supervising staff, and maintaining high room quality. Training is provided, and weekend/evening availability is important.

Red Lock Escape Rooms are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Gamemaster!

Candidates should demonstrate that they have experience providing exceptional customer service and staff supervision. Additionally a love of escape rooms will be highly regarded.

Full gamemaster training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Casual role, requiring weekend and evening shifts.

Daily Operations

• Priority will be placed on providing an exceptional escape room experience for customers including all aspects involved: rules briefings, game monitoring, debriefing and resetting rooms
• Replenishing supplies as needed & notifying owners when needs arise
• Administrative tasks including maintaining cleanliness, answering phones professionally, assisting customers with bookings and any other needs

Quality Control

• Oversee quality control of rooms before and after games are run
• Assist with minor prop maintenance, repair, and touch ups as time and abilities allow, notify owners of bigger upkeep/fixes that are needed
• Regularly inspect game components and replace them as needed
• Maintain prop inventory, creating and/or requesting additional backup props as needed
• Utilize clever problem solving to work around broken props or tech fails in a pinch in order to disrupt the customer experience as little as possible

Pay: $25.00 – $33.00 per hour
