Job summary

Argo Natural Resources, a people-led mining business in Queensland's Bowen Basin, seeks a Deputy / ERZ Controller to lead from the front, manage crew and equipment, and deliver planned work safely and efficiently.

This role requires a 3rd Class/ERZ Controller COC, G189 and G2 (or willingness to obtain), with strong safety leadership and the ability to develop people while ensuring compliance with mine standards.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and prioritise daily crew activities while maintaining safety.
• Strong knowledge of ERZ/PCOC control regimes and mine standards.
• Commitment to upholding statutory obligations and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front to manage people and equipment for planned work.
• Deliver operations safely, efficiently, and to targets.
• Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback to develop the team.
• Ensure compliance with mine standards and statutory requirements.
