Job summary

DHL Group is seeking an experienced HC Driver for local deliveries in Sydney. You will perform local and shuttle deliveries, build strong customer relationships, and ensure secure, timely deliveries while adhering to DHL security and safety policies.

Ideal candidates will hold a current HC licence and demonstrate excellent communication, a can-do attitude, and knowledge of the Sydney metro area. The role involves on-site work with on-call flexibility.

Qualifications

• Current HC licence essential.
• Previous experience with local deliveries in Sydney.
• Can Do attitude with a high standard of customer service.
• Clear communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of the Sydney metro area.
• Ability to follow DHL policies & procedures.
• Willingness to provide a current Driving Record when requested.
• Willingness to undergo Security Clearance & Pre-Employment Medical.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of consignments to customer sites such as major DCs, shopping centres, wholesalers & businesses.
• Perform local and shuttle duties as required.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Complete secure delivery of items within specified time frames.
• Follow company procedures for pre-start checks, load restraint and securing of vehicle.
• Adhere to security requirements.
• Maintain accurate records using the PDA.
• Ability to complete runs within Sydney and ad hoc deliveries to Canberra.

Responsibilities

Requirements
