Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Sydney's Erskine Park area is seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our local freight team. You will perform local deliveries, shuttle duties as required, and build strong relationships with customers while ensuring secure, on-time deliveries.

The successful candidate will hold a current HR licence, have knowledge of the Sydney metro area, and demonstrate a Can Do attitude with excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Current HR licence essential.
• Previous experience performing local deliveries within the Sydney area.
• "Can Do" attitude with a high standard of customer service.
• Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of the Sydney metro area.
• Ability to follow DHL policies & procedures.
• Willingness to provide a current full Driving Record when requested.
• Willingness to undergo a Security Clearance & Pre Employment Medical as part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of consignment to various customer sites such as major DCs, shopping centres, wholesales & businesses.
• Perform both local and shuttle duties as required.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Complete the secure delivery of items within specified time frames.
• Follow company procedures associated with pre start checks, restraint of loads and securing of vehicle.
• Adherence to stringent security requirements.
• Maintain accurate records using the PDA.
