Job summary

Pinpoint Talent is seeking an ERP Project Manager for a federal government client in Canberra, on an initial 9-month contract. The role is based onsite with responsibilities to deliver and implement an Enterprise Resource Planning system from concept to full deployment.

You will lead complex ICT projects, engage senior stakeholders, and balance strategic oversight with operational delivery within APS governance and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ICT implementations in the Australian Public Service (APS).
• Strong track record across full project lifecycle: requirements, design, data migration, UAT, training, deployment, post-go-live.
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, participate in steering committees and governance.
• Excellent leadership for multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments.
• Clear written and verbal communication for executive briefings and reports.
• Solid understanding of APS corporate processes (finance, HR, procurement) and ICT governance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee ERP project from conception through full implementation, ensuring objectives are met on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across ICT disciplines.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, developing executive briefings and governance documentation.
• Balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery to support digital transformation.
