The Next Step Recruitment in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Employee Relations and Industrial Relations Specialist to support end-to-end negotiation and delivery of four Enterprise Agreements in the mining sector.

This hands-on role requires ER/IR expertise, a proven track record with unions, and the ability to guide senior leaders through complex industrial relations processes. A 15-month fixed-term engagement offers a concrete contribution to critical bargaining programs.

Formación

• End-to-end experience leading and negotiating Enterprise Agreements.
• Proven track record of working directly with unions to support operational leaders.
• Current knowledge of Australia's industrial relations framework and bargaining environment.
• Experience in heavy industry, utilities, mining, manufacturing or similarly complex environments.
• Pragmatic, commercially minded approach and can get things done.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the end-to-end enterprise bargaining process across four Enterprise Agreements.
• Develop and implement bargaining strategies that balance organizational objectives, operational requirements and employee outcomes.
• Support the Chief People Officer with advice on industrial relations matters and legislative obligations.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and client sites to ensure all details are covered.
• Drive agreements through to successful conclusion, including approval and implementation.
• Support ER and IR more broadly across the business negotiating risks and stakeholder expectations.
