Job summary

Coates is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator at our Fyshwick branch in Canberra. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring customers receive top‑tier service for their equipment solutions.

Role involves handling in-person/phone/email inquiries, coordinating deliveries, quotes, invoicing and liaising with suppliers. You’ll work on a rotating roster with occasional Saturday hours in a permanent full‑time capacity.

Qualifications

• Previous face-to-face customer service experience.
• Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Capability and willingness to learn and absorb technical information.
• Desire to provide amazing customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Addressing customer needs in person, by phone and email.
• Generating hire schedules, quotes, and invoicing.
• Coordinating equipment deliveries, transfers, pickups, repairs, breakdowns, portable toilet pump runs.
• Occasionally assist customers and colleagues in the yard with loading equipment.
• Liaising with suppliers to support our customers.
