Job summary

Kennards Hire is seeking a Service Person Driver to support customers with expert advice, pickups, deliveries and ensuring equipment is ready for hire. You will be the crucial link between branches, customers and projects.

You will receive training and development to succeed, with opportunities to grow within a large, family-owned equipment hire company across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Successful applicants come from diverse backgrounds including customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driver, landscaping, trade & maintenance.
• A valid driver's licence is required.
• MR licence preferred.
• This role involves physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods; ability to pass a drug test.
• Be proactive and keen to learn new skills.
• An interest in machinery and equipment, training will be provided.
• A positive attitude and team player.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and demonstrate to customers how to safely use our equipment.
• As the Driver, perform pickup and delivery of equipment from customer sites, including safe loading/unloading.
• Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.
• Maintain high equipment standards through regular servicing and minor repairs.
• Clean branch facilities and perform equipment maintenance as required.
• Perform equipment check-in and check-out inspections.
