Job summary

Hargrave Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to own the software running our manufacturing end-of-line (EOL) testing. You will deliver fast, repeatable pass/fail decisions and ensure traceability aligned with aerospace-grade quality in high-volume production.

You will collaborate with electronics, firmware, and production teams to build robust test software, integrate with internal tools via REST APIs, and debug issues across software and hardware to harden systems for flight-ready units.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering test software for manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in Python with async patterns and typing.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver robust software.

Responsibilities

• Build EOL Test Software: develop and maintain test apps that control instruments and devices under test.
• Ship for High-Volume Throughput: design tests that are deterministic, fast, and operator-friendly.
• Integrate Manufacturing Systems: interface with REST APIs to record results and drive workflows.
• Debug the Real World: trace root causes across software/hardware and harden the system.
• Work Independently: take clean-sheet goals to production-ready software.
