Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Regional Facilities Director to oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of facilities within a large region. The role is part of Facilities Management, supporting Property Managers with repairs and investment plans.

You will coordinate team activities, set deadlines, mentor staff, and apply knowledge of multiple disciplines and regulatory requirements to drive performance across the department.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Regional Facilities Director, you will manage the day-to-day functions of the department responsible for building operations and maintenance of facilities within a large region.

This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
• Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers that impact departmental and cross-functional performance, Including regulatory compliance and Joint Commission Surveys for each facility.
• Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
• Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departmental results within a function.
• Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
