Job summary

Envite Environment, a division of Workways Australia, is seeking an Environment Supervisor to lead the field team in bush regeneration, weed control, and revegetation activities. The role emphasizes safe, sustainable site work and proactive coordination of on-ground service delivery.

Based near Nerang, QLD, the role requires driving to sites and coordinating projects with a focus on environmental best practices and team performance.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Conservation & Land Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years bush regeneration experience.
• Driver’s Licence.
• Experience leading teams whilst undertaking ecological restoration.
• White Card (Construction).
• Physically fit, motivated and able to work in challenging outdoor environments.
• Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment.
• Understanding and following WHS policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the environmental field team on-ground.
• Undertake bush regeneration, weed control, revegetation and site assessments.
• Ensure environmentally responsible and sustainable practices.
• Assist in planning on-ground service delivery and budgets where required.

Environment Supervisor

Location- Nerang, QLD

Contract - Permanent Full-Time

About the Role

The Environment Supervisor (ES) is responsible for on-ground supervision and coordination of the Environment field team, undertaking natural resource management (NRM) activities including bush regeneration, weed control, revegetation and site assessment. The ES plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organisation operates in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.

About You:

• You have experience in bush regeneration and / or associated fields of work, such as horticulture,weed control,revegetationand landscaping.
• You have experience in Supervising teams and performance.
• You have experience in project management, including preparation of budgets, quotations, assessment and planning of on-ground service delivery.
• You have an understanding of best practice bush regeneration,landscapingandlight construction
• You demonstrate knowledge of weed control measures,vegetation communities, plant identification skills, and awareness of environmental issues.
• You have strong communicationand administrative skills, including the use of computers and Microsoft Office suite.
• You have a demonstrated understanding of risk management processes and systems, and their relationship to business/ projectobjectives.
• You have the ability to work as a team member within the ethos and values of Workways Australia.

Essential Criteria
