Job summary

Churches of Christ in Queensland are currently seeking Environmental Service Workers for our 98-bed service in Mitchelton, Moonah Park Aged Care. This casual role combines laundry, cleaning and kitchen assistant duties, including food preparation, food service, and dining room setup.

You will help maintain a clean and safe environment inside and outside the kitchen. Ideal candidates will have experience in food preparation/food service or cleaning, knowledge of food hygiene, and current Police

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial food preparation/food service and/or cleaning or laundry.
• Strong knowledge of safe food hygiene practices and kitchen safety.
• Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check.
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights (cannot sponsor).

• Complete laundry, cleaning and kitchen assistant tasks.

• Set up dining room for meals and attend to residents during meals.

About the Role:

Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking additional Environmental Service Workers for our 98-bed service in Mitchelton, Moonah Park Aged Care. This role will see you working in a mixed role completing laundry, cleaning and kitchen assistant duties including food preparation, food service, setting up the dining room for meals, as well as maintaining a clean environment both inside and outside the kitchen.

About You

You will be somebody who is passionate about the community and supporting residents within the facility. Our ideal candidate has:

• Proven experience in commercial food preparation/food service and/or cleaning or laundry
• Strong knowledge of safe food hygiene practices and kitchen safety
• Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights (unfortunately we are unable to sponsor)
