Job summary

Churches of Christ in Queensland's Gracehaven Aged Care Service in QLD is seeking Environmental Service Workers to support residents and create a safe, welcoming home-like environment in Bundaberg. You will assist in kitchen tasks, cleaning, laundry, and dining room setup while following infection control and safety procedures, working closely with a compassionate team.

Applicants should be reliable, team-oriented and have strong communication skills; prior experience in cleaning or kitchen

Qualifications

• Reliable, positive and team-oriented.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in cleaning, hospitality, kitchen helper roles (aged care desirable).
• National Police Check or ability to obtain.
• Australian work rights (sponsorship not available).

Looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real difference in people’s everyday lives? We’re seeking reliable and caring Environmental Service Workers to support our Gracehaven Aged Care Service in Bundanberg and creating a safe and welcoming environment where residents feel at home.

About the Role

• Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation and service
• Cleaning different areas and assisitng in Laundry if needed
• Support dining room setup and pack down
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Work closely with the team to keep things running smoothly

About You

• Reliable, positive and team-orientated
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage competing priorities
• Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, kitchen Aid, or kitchen hand roles (aged care experience is desirable)
• National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
• Valid Australian work rights (Please note that Sponsorship is not available)
