Job summary

Calvary is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant for Holmesglen Private Hospital in Melbourne. The role involves cleaning patient rooms, common areas and clinical spaces to infection-control standards, with casual hours to suit your lifestyle.

You will follow waste and linen handling protocols, respond to ad hoc cleaning requests, and work closely with nursing and allied health staff to maintain a safe patient environment. A WWCC is required or obtainable prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or environmental services is preferred.
• Solid understanding of hygiene and infection-control practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time across a busy facility.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating casual roster.
• Current WWCC or willingness to obtain before employment.
