Ventia invites applications for a Hydrographer / Environmental Scientist in Victoria, Australia. The role blends fieldwork with data analysis, using ADCPs and water-quality skills across hydrography and environmental monitoring.
You will work with a team delivering outcomes for major environmental projects. You will collect and analyse streamflow and groundwater data, install stations, and manage data with HYDSTRA, ESDAT and Campbells, while adhering to OH&S standards.

This hands-on role combines fieldwork, advanced technology, data analysis, and problem solving, offering the opportunity to build expertise across a wide range of environmental disciplines. You will work with industry leading equipment including ADCPs, water quality skills in hydrography, environmental monitoring and data management.
Whether you are troubleshooting a monitoring station, surveying river cross-sections, collecting groundwater samples, or analysing complex environmental datasets, you will be part of a team delivering meaningful outcomes for some of Australia’s most significant environmental projects.
