Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Manager, Environmental and Sustainability for a regional project in Australia. You will guide all environmental and sustainability activities, reporting to the Project Director, and set the strategic direction for regulatory compliance, climate and resource management, and sustainability performance across design, construction, commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in environmental science or engineering.
• Experience managing environmental/sustainability on major projects.
• Strong knowledge of approvals, EPRs and legislation.
• Experience managing sustainability initiatives and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct all environmental and sustainability functions across the project.
• Set governance for environmental and sustainability management to Builder PSDR.
• Ensure compliance with approvals, EPRs and legislation.
• Oversee the Construction Environmental Management Plan and sub-plans.
• Drive the Sustainability Management Plan and initiatives.
• Monitor and report on performance, targets and KPIs.
• Manage environmental and sustainability risk, incidents and audits.
