Job summary

Fyfe is seeking an Environmental Management Consultant to deliver practical environmental outcomes for a diverse client portfolio across Australia. You will assess environmental impact, coordinate fieldwork, and support project teams from planning through construction and operation with a focus on client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong communication, rigorous reporting, and the ability to lead site inspections and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of monitoring across ecology, land, water, air and noise.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation relevant to monitoring and post-approval management.
• Effective project management including budgeting, deadlines and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical assessments, desktop research, environmental monitoring and fieldwork across a varied project portfolio.
• Lead site inspections and field monitoring teams, supporting safe, effective and well-coordinated on-site delivery.
• Prepare Environmental Management Plans and help clients implement and oversee post-approval commitments.
• Manage project scope, budgets and deadlines while maintaining quality, efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Produce clear technical reports and practical solutions that help clients address environmental project challenges.
• Strengthen project outcomes through effective communication with clients, government agencies, contractors and multidisciplinary Fyfe teams
