Job summary

Fyfe is a leading Australian consultancy delivering engineering, environmental, planning and surveying services across the Energy & Resources, Renewables, Infrastructure and Property sectors. We seek an Environmental Management Consultant for a 24-month fixed-term contract based in Brisbane or Townsville, combining office‑based delivery with fieldwork to support major projects.

You will work with project managers, regulators and clients to ensure environmental obligations are met and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or related discipline.
• Experience in environmental compliance, monitoring, auditing or management within construction, infrastructure, resources or renewables.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance frameworks.
• Willingness to undertake site work and occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Construction environmental compliance and auditing.
• Preparation and implementation of Environmental Management Plans (EMPs).
• Development of Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs).
• Preparation of SSEMPs, ESCPs and EMP-related documentation.
• Environmental monitoring and field-based project delivery.
• Site inspections and compliance assessments.
