Job summary

ALS Environmental in Wangara is looking for Laboratory Technicians to join our dynamic team. You will prepare and analyze soil, water, and marine sediment samples, ensuring QA/QC and adherence to instructions while supporting efficient daily workflows.

Qualifications

• BSc in Chemistry, Environmental Science or similar, or a TAFE in Lab Techniques.
• Willingness to perform manual tasks.
• Ability to work shifts as required.
• Strong adherence to QA/QC and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and analysis of soil, water, and marine sediment samples for tests.
• Ensuring analytical procedures conform to ALS Quality Work Instructions, including QA/QC.
• Organizing designated tasks to maximize daily efficiencies.
• Completing tasks within time frames set by supervisor and standards.
• Highlight anomalies in results, sample type, and behavior.
