Job summary

Powerdata Group Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Officer to support environmental flood recovery and clean-up projects in Parramatta, NSW. The role involves coordination, admin, reporting and stakeholder support across multiple recovery activities in a hands-on program environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in project support, administration or coordination.
• Experience supporting contractor-led, operational or on-ground projects would be highly regarded.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and changing deadlines.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and formats.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of flood recovery projects focused on environmental clean-up and on-ground outcomes.
• Coordinate project activities to help achieve agreed milestones and deliverables.
• Provide day-to-day project and administrative support, including filing, scheduling contractor meetings and preparing meeting minutes.
• Collect, maintain and update project information and data for reporting, tracking and continuous improvement.
• Assist with preparing reports, briefings, correspondence and other project documentation.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to support effective delivery of on-ground works.
• Support meetings and project forums by providing accurate and timely project information.
• Communicate with project participants and members of the public by phone, email and written correspondence.
• Help senior team members manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records to support project governance and reporting.
