Job summary

UDL Group is seeking a Casual Environmental Field Technician to join the Redland Bay area team in Queensland. Work hours typically 6:00am–3:00pm, with full PPE and company benefits provided.

Immediate start with opportunities to learn and advance within the bushland restoration and environmental rehabilitation field. The role focuses on bush regeneration, weed control, and native vegetation establishment in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Current Manual Driver's Licence is required.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card) is required.
• Weed identification and native plant knowledge are essential.
• AC/DC Ticket and Chainsaw License are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil bush regeneration, revegetation and environmental restoration activities.
• Perform environmental weed control and vegetation management works.
• Assist with planting, maintenance and establishment of native vegetation.
• Fulfil conservation maintenance activities in bushland, parkland and natural areas.
• Assist with erosion control, rehabilitation and environmental improvement projects.
• Complete allocated tasks in accordance with project requirements and work instructions.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site presentation.
• Support the achievement of project objectives and environmental outcomes.

About the Position

Position Title: Environmental Field Technician

Area of Work: Redland Bay, Queensland

Employment Type: Casual (Work hours are generally from 6.00am - 3.00pm)

We are looking for a dedicated Casual Environmental Field Technician to join our team in the Redland Bay area with a positive attitude, good communication skills and strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Fulfil bush regeneration, revegetation and environmental restoration activities.

• Perform environmental weed control and vegetation management works.

• Assist with planting, maintenance and establishment of native vegetation.
