Job summary
Transgrid, NSW, is seeking an Environmental Systems and Compliance Advisor to shape environmental performance across transmission projects and operations.
You will provide expert environmental advice, strengthen management systems (ISO 14001 aligned), and drive reporting to enable informed decisions.
The role requires a degree in environmental science/engineering, an Australian driver licence, and experience across infrastructure or regulated industries.
Qualifications
- Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Environmental management experience within infrastructure, utilities, construction, energy or other regulated industries, implementing and improving Environmental Management Systems, preferably ISO 14001 aligned.
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, investigations and corrective actions, and management system documents.
- Experience preparing internal and regulatory compliance and management reports.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert environmental advice across projects, network operations and future energy developments.
- Strengthen Environmental Management Systems and governance across the business.
- Drive data-driven reporting to support informed decision-making and environmental sustainability outcomes.
