Job summary

Glencore Australia’s McArthur River Mine is seeking a Senior Advisor - Compliance, Reporting and Assurance to lead a small team focused on the site’s compliance register and coordinated reporting to government and corporate bodies. The role will oversee assurance, governance processes, and Independent Expert Panels to ensure data integrity and regulatory alignment.

The successful candidate will bring environmental science/management qualifications, strong leadership, and a track record in mining

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and people-management experience.
• Strong analytical and data-review skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in environmental compliance, regulatory reporting or governance.
• Knowledge of mining operations and environmental management systems.

Responsibilities

• Promote SafeWork protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Lead and develop team members and monitor workloads.
• Maintain site compliance register and support statutory and project approvals.
• Coordinate government and corporate reporting including assurance of data.
• Lead audits against compliance and assurance requirements.
• Oversee environmental approvals governance processes and panels.
