Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking an Environmental Approvals Consultant to support planning and delivery of environmental and planning approvals across Western Australia and nationally. You will conduct desktop assessments and prepare environmental, planning and technical approval documents to meet regulatory requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Planning or a related discipline.
• Approximately 2-4 years' experience in environmental or planning approvals, environmental impact assessment or environmental management.
• Knowledge of Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental legislation, approvals processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience preparing high-quality technical reports and client deliverables.
• Strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Eligibility for Australian Defence Force Security Clearance.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
