Job summary

Harvey Fresh, part of Lactalis Australia, is seeking an Environmental Advisor to oversee wastewater treatment operations, ensure licence compliance, and manage regulatory submissions.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will supervise two WWTP Operators, engage with regulators and stakeholders, and drive sustainability initiatives across the site.

Diploma or degree in Environmental Science and 1–2 years of wastewater experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science (or equivalent)
• 1–2 years' experience in wastewater management is preferred
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and environmental systems
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with SAP and environmental reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)
• Ensure compliance with DWER and licence conditions
• Identify system improvements and implement procedural changes
• Manage environmental reporting, data analysis, and regulatory submissions
• Support capital planning and budget adherence
• Champion sustainability initiatives and HSE culture
