Job summary
Unitywater is seeking an Environment Advisor to provide environmental advice and support across water and wastewater operations and capital projects in the Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions. You will help ensure compliance with Queensland environmental legislation, regulatory approvals and operating licences, and you will undertake site inspections, audits and incident investigations.
The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with a tool-of-trade vehicle and an on-call roster roughly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Provide environmental advice across operational activities and capital projects.
- Drive environmental compliance, risk management and continuous improvement.
- Conduct site inspections and environmental audits.
- Support incident investigations and data analysis.
- Review environmental management plans and advise contractors/operational teams.
- Collaborate with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders to improve environmental performance.
- Work roughly 50/50 office and field with a tool-of-trade vehicle.
