Job summary

Unitywater is seeking an Environment Advisor to provide environmental advice across water and wastewater operations and capital projects, helping ensure compliance with Queensland environmental legislation and operating licences.

You will undertake site inspections, audits, incident investigations, and review management plans to support continuous improvement and sustainability across Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Management or related discipline.
• Knowledge of Queensland environmental legislation, regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Experience with environmental inspections, audits, incident investigations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental advice across water and wastewater operations and capital projects.
• Drive environmental compliance, risk management and continuous improvement.
• Undertake site inspections and environmental audits, support incident investigations, review management plans and monitor data.
