Job summary

Gladstone Regional Council is seeking a Capital Projects Environmental Advisor to drive environmental outcomes across major capital projects in the Gladstone Region. The role partners with diverse stakeholders to deliver sustainable infrastructure while ensuring compliance with legislation.

The successful candidate will lead environmental planning, risk management, and reporting, contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science or related field is required.
• Experience with environmental compliance in construction or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, regulatory requirements, standards and approvals.

• Shape environmental outcomes of Council's capital projects.
• Lead environmental planning, land management, compliance and sustainability efforts.
