Job summary

Worley is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join their Perth Environmental Consulting team, supporting mining, resources and infrastructure projects. You will work with environmental specialists, engineers and project delivery teams to help clients manage environmental risks and achieve compliance across planning, design, construction, operations and closure.

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Sustainability or a related discipline.
• Experience in environmental consulting or project delivery within mining, resources, construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Understanding of environmental approvals, compliance obligations and environmental management systems.
• Experience preparing environmental management plans, monitoring programs and technical reports.
• Practical capability in areas such as construction compliance, mine closure and rehabilitation, GIS, field monitoring, heritage management or contractor management.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical, reporting and data management capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental management, compliance and approvals activities across major projects.
• Prepare and maintain environmental management plans, registers, monitoring programs and compliance reports.
• Review project and contractor activities against approval conditions, client requirements and environmental standards.
• Coordinate environmental data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Support environmental incident investigations, corrective actions and close-out activities.
• Assist with environmental monitoring, field inspections and site audits.
• Coordinate specialist consultant and subcontractor inputs.
• Prepare technical reports, environmental submissions, training materials and guidance documents.
• Work collaboratively with clients, contractors, Traditional Owners and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Support internal and external audits and compliance assurance activities.

We are seeking an Environmental Advisor to join our growing Perth Environmental Consulting team. Supporting a strong pipeline of mining, resources and infrastructure projects, you will work alongside experienced environmental specialists, engineers and project delivery teams to help clients manage environmental risks, achieve compliance obligations and deliver practical environmental outcomes. This is an opportunity to contribute across the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction, operations and closure, while building your experience on some of Australia's most significant projects.
