This is a key leadership role where you’ll bring your expertise to ensure environmental performance is managed effectively and aligned with our commitment to creating, connecting and caring for communities.Working closely with the Project Director and delivery team, you’ll provide clear direction, advice and support across all environmental aspects of the project. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance, managing risk and embedding best practice environmental outcomes across the project lifecycle.What you’ll do?Lead environmental management across the project, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and approval requirementsProvide clear guidance and support to project teams on environmental risks, controls and outcomesDevelop, implement and monitor environmental management plans and systemsWork closely with construction teams to ensure environmental considerations are embedded into planning and deliveryEngage with clients, regulators and key stakeholders, building strong and trusted relationshipsMonitor performance, identify risks early and drive practical solutions on sitePromote a culture of environmental responsibility and continuous improvement across the teamSupport reporting, audits and ongoing improvement of environmental processesHow you’ll connect to the role?We’re looking for an Environmental Manager who brings strong experience within civil construction or infrastructure projects and understands the practical challenges of delivering works in complex environments.
