Job summary

Komatsu is seeking an entry level Workshop Technician inBrendale, Queensland, to manufacture and assemble Mining Technology Solutions products. The role involves wiring control panels, configuring products, and supporting project hand-overs to ensure on-time delivery.

You will work with a team, using IT tools and electrical schematics to meet high-quality standards. Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, solid time-management, and good Windows PC

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Mechanically and electrically minded.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Sound computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating system.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble MTS products with high attention to detail.
• Set up and configure MTS products using IT systems.
• Manufacture and fabrication of components, incl. cutting, drilling, assembly.
• Wire control panels from electrical schematics.
• Maintain documentation for factory acceptance testing.
• Ensure QA and compliance of all MTS products.
• Assist with inventory management of parts, tools, consumables.
• Collaborate across business units to achieve goals.
