Job summary

GRACEMERE NEWS AND LPO in Gracemere is seeking a casual Junior Retail Assistant to join our newsagency team for the seasonal period. No experience is required as training will be provided.

You will be part of a small team, with shifts between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday, averaging 20–38 hours per week. Police checks and Golden Casket training are required.

This role offers an immediate start with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; training will be provided.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Flexible with working hours and able to cover shifts at short notice.
• Must pass a Police Check (mandatory).
• Must complete Golden Casket training and pass to be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Sales, service and promotion of products and services.
• Process cash, credit and return transactions on sales.
• Maintain shop displays and daily housekeeping requirements.
• Complete Magazine and Paper Returns.
