Job summary

G.James Group is seeking an entry-level Estimator to begin a career in the estimating field within the residential and commercial windows and doors industry.

You will learn estimating fundamentals through hands-on training and guidance, developing the ability to read plans, interpret requirements for product selection and installation methods, and assist with quotations using V6 software (training provided).

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of NCC and Australian Standards relating to windows and doors.
• Confident communicating with homeowners, builders and business leaders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Build understanding of estimating principles through hands-on training.
• Read plans and assist with basic quantity take-offs for quotes.
• Prepare accurate quotations and orders using V6 software (training provided).
• Collaborate with sales teams to support project delivery.
• Assist with customer follow-up to progress quotations to sale.
