The AFP selection process is comprehensive and competitive. You\'ll be guided at each stage by our Recruitment team. Successful candidates are placed in a Merit Pool, from which you\'ll be offered a role on a particular recruit course. If successful, your start date will be determined by which recruit course you\'re assigned to. We run many courses throughout the year, and exactly which course you join is based on the location you apply for and accept at the time of your offer.
As a new recruit, you are paid to train, starting from $64,754. Following graduation, your salary will increase as per our Enterprise Agreement (EA). You can view further information on entry level recruit salaries and other benefits on our website.
