Job summary

Squad in conjunction with our valued Host Employer is seeking an entry level Mechanical Draftsman Traineeship in South East Melbourne. This is an entry level role offering a Certificate IV Drafting traineeship at TAFE, with PPE provided and full tuition coverage.

You will assist in 2D/3D CAD drawings, support the technical department, interpret sketches, and learn fabrication processes while following established procedures. Commencement ASAP; 38 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Interest in mechanical parts.
• Basic understanding of technical drawings and CAD software.
• Attention to detail and willing to learn.
• Interest in fabrication and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
• Assist technical department and draftpersons with design tasks.
