Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking a Hot Seat Dump Truck Operator to join a leading mining operation in Queensland. You will undergo full training to operate electric dump trucks on a busy mine site, working 8-hour shifts on a 7/7 day roster.

Local Banana Shire residents are preferred as camp meals are not provided. To be considered you must hold a current Australian Drivers Licence, have the right to work in Australia, a Standard 11/Coal Board Medical or be willing to obtain them, and be able to pass a

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence (or equivalent)
• Coal Board Medical/Standards 11 to be obtained if not held
• Willing to pass Drug & Alcohol screening

Responsibilities

• Operate electric dump trucks on a busy mine site.
• Work 8-hour shifts on a straight 7/7 day roster.
• Complete all training provided to perform the role safely and competently

Job description

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will undergo full training to become a Hot Seat Dump Truck Operator on a busy mine site. You will be required to operate electric dump trucks, working 8-hour shifts on a straight 7/7 day shift only roster. These roles are available for local candidates only.

What You Will Need

• You will need to be reside in the Banana Shire as camp & meals are not provided
• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical or be willing to attain this
• Current Drivers License & right to work in Australia
• The ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
